FAQs

How long do I have the scaffolding for?

As standard our quotes include 4 weeks hire, then a weekly hire rate thereafter. This, however, is always negotiable for smaller jobs or we can create a quote based on your own time frame.

How is scaffolding priced?

The cost is based on the length, height, and equipment needed e.g. ladder beams to cross a conservatory.

Are you insured?

Yes, we have full public and employee liability insurance, certificate copies available on request.

Are there any hidden extra costs?

No, the quoted price will include all the equipment that is needed for the job, e.g. ladders, brick guards, safety gates, debris netting. Initial quotes are fully comprehensive and will also include any permits required. This will all be discussed at the survey stage.

What about my garden/drive, will they be damaged?

We can discuss any concerns about where the scaffold is placed during the site survey. Our men are always respectful of our client's property and will take great care.

Will my TV satellite dish be OK?

If the scaffolding is close to the satellite dish you will experience interference, the amount varies between different systems.

Could we have a safety completion handover certificate?

Yes, we are happy to provide this.

My front door opens directly on to a public pavement, can you put scaffolding on it, and what about

No problem. As part of the quote we contact the relevant council and apply for a street permit. When planning the structure of the scaffold, we make sure we allow clear access for pedestrians. If traffic management is required, we organise this. This could include barriers and traffic lights.

I have shared access with my neighbour, will the scaffolding affect them?

Access and neighbour concerns will be discussed at the survey to cause minimum disruption, and permission sought with any affected neighbours.

Tea or coffee?

At the time of writing we have a team of tea drinkers, with varying amounts of sugar requested. This, however is subject to change.
